Scotty and I discovered a mutual love for the blues. I dropped by CJ's on Saturday and opportunity struck for us to jam out. I'm not bragging, but we brought the house down. All around us.

We sat for a drink together after, we were on such a high from it all. End result? We're going to start a band. We'll be like the Blues Brothers...only, not. CJ was eavesdropping and she's very excited for us. She says we'll always be able to play there so that's good. A start. We've got to find some people to play with us, he knows some guys. I really hope I have the time for it. I guess it's family meeting time once again.

So if anyone wants to hear us play, I'll let you know when and where to be.

I am not a good bowler. I lost so badly, it isn't even funny. And I think I sprained my thumb. Don't ask me how, I just did. It hurts. I should get it looked at, but I really hope it's not a sprain and that it goes away before Friday. I tried playing my piano last night and I had to play without my thumb...very awkward.

Awkward indeed...has anyone ever noticed that even the word "awkward" is awkward?

Now that I have been awake for several hours, my brain is back to working order. Took a brief nap this morning before having to pick up Sammy from his sleepover. I promised him dinner and bowling, so we're going out soon.

I very much enjoyed CJ's last night. From meeting David, at last. To the man with the odd hair and his...intriguing date. As always, the dancing was great fun. I again apologize to everyone I knocked over. I liked hearing Dan play and both of us entertaining together was quite show.

When Mona left last night I asked her to babysit tonight, and she said yes. Now I just need to decide what to do.

It was a good weekend once the air was cleared. We had a lot of fun doing all kinds of things around the City. Sam was still grounded, but...he was with me, so it's okay, right? Our weekdays are already falling into routine. We like routine.
